AXIOME416 is a dark interactive story where you play a soldier in a military camp caught in a conspiracy. Explore the camp, gather evidence and talk to the other soldiers to overthrow the Colonel and survive.

My contributionIn charge of the narrative: world building, quests, dialogue trees and characters.

My work

Narrative

Dialogues

Wrote the main and side dialogues as choice trees in Miro, where the team could follow progress for engine integration and proofreading.

Narrative

World building

Designed the world and the game map in Illustrator: locations, connections, lore and art brief for the artists (page 7 of the presentation document).

Narrative

Characters

Created the characters, their backstories and details, with the documentation for the artists.

Documentation

World database

A Google Sheets database gathering locations, characters, items and quests. The whole team relied on it: it gave the artists everything they needed for their work, and also served to track tasks.

Documentation

AXIOME416 was designed as a narrative open world: players roam the camp freely and move the story forward by interacting with the world. With the other Game Designers, we first agreed together on the intentions, the world and the characters, then split the tasks. I relied on the database and the narrative tools we set up to write dialogues consistent with the world.
