My work

Level Design

Level design

Built several level design areas.

Documentation

Documentation

Creation and authoring of different documents: One Page Concept and Game Concept Document.

QA

Mobile optimisation

The biggest challenge of the project was getting good performance on most phones. I set up a QA test procedure, comparing builds to find the problematic elements, while the programmers optimised the engine.

ResultBy comparing different settings with Unity's profiler, we got the game running mostly smoothly on phones.

Art

Interfaces and assets

Visual design of the menus, inventory and shop, 3D modelling of the in-game currencies, asset research and integration, team logo.

Documentation

Chaosnow taught me a lot about mobile development, and was made with students from the Game Design & Programming programme. Documentation played a big part: the One Page Document and the Game Concept Document below were a lot of work. They still carry the game's first name, A Chill Journey.
